Maybe I am missing something here. I have an Annihilator (Assault Mech). Its' base Initiative is 1. The pilot is a Master Tactician, which adds 1 to the Initiative of any 'Mech, so not the Initiative is 2. Another 'Mech in the lance has a B2000 Battle Computer installed, which increases the Initiative of all 'Mechs in the lance by one, so now the Annihilator is at a 3 Initiative. The Annihilator itself has a Drive Train installed, which increases the Initiative by 2, which brings us to a 5 Initiative. For some reason, after deployment, the initiative drops down to 4. It seems to not be adding in the +1 bonus for Master Tactician. Any idea as to why?
UPDATE 08/25/2023
I have done some additional gameplay and came across something similar. Running a Lance consisting of an Atlas II, Cyclops CP-10-Z which has the B2000 Battle Computer already installed, a Stalker with a Drive Train installed, and a Jaegermech. Base initiative of these mechs are 1, 1, 1, 2 respectively. With the B2000 Battle Computer, initiatives should be increased to 2, 2, 2, 3. The Drive Train in the Stalker increases it initiative by 2, which brings us to 2, 2, 4, 3. Finally, my commander has the Master Tactician skill, increasing the initiative of any Mech he pilots by 1, which he runs the Atlas II. Now, the initiative of each 'Mech should finally be 3, 2, 4, 3. In fact, in the Drop Menu screen, where you assemble your 'Mechs and Pilots to create your Lance, the initiatives will show as 3, 2, 4, 3. However, upon reaching the ground, the Stalker's initiative drops down to 3. This happened after my commander acquired the Master Tactician skill. Not sure if there is someone out there who can figure this out, but I would appreciate any information as to why the initiative changes from the Drop screen to actual deployment.
