I know this is over a year old, but I'm having this problem, on two separate computers, and I can't figure it out. Restarting definitely does not work for me. The best I've got, is one of the devs of Battle Realms : Zen Edition on the steam forums mentioned downloading this "dgVoodoo2" program that generates new dll's for the game.. but it didn't work for me either (or at least I don't know if I was using them correctly)..

Here's the link for that conversation:

I would really like to know if anyone at GOG is going to fix this issue.. Might have to open a support ticket.

The PCGW page has some possible fixes for that (and the infamous minimap bug - still partially unsolved in the Zen Edition, but given the latest news, the team has found ways to improve things at a steady pace).

The dgVoodoo method is explained in detail.

I'm using the widescreen fix mentionned in the Windowed section (specifically from this page: https://www.wsgf.org/dr/battle-realms/en - the default FOV one, named 'Battle_Realms_widescreen'). Oddly enough, this fix tends to solve the minimap bug too!

Just in case anyone comes stumbling into this forum looking for a solution:

I managed to fix the problem by turning off my second monitor in the display settings of windows. After that all I had to do was launch Battle Realms in compatibility mode and it worked for me.
Hope this helps someone.
Hello everyone! Basically clueless in the jargons and technicalities of devices and downloading games but was successful in downloading the battle realms + winter of the wolf on my macbook through porting kit. However, when I finally launched the game I encountered the "could not find supported display" error. I reallly need your help and possible solutions.

Device specfications: Macbook Air M2
Use DGVoodoo 2, install the DLLs from the MS/x86 folder and in the dgVoodooCpl.exe make sure to specify a video device and monitor for the game (don't leave it as default). It'll then run fine on dual monitor set ups.
