Why do you blame gog? It's up to the publisher, who promised
gog users a linux port back on the original release day.

here. I asked if it worked on wine, given that the Linux port was effectively canceled, and all I got in response was people saying "just believe in them! it will happen!". Do any of those who told me this still keep the faith? Will we see a Linux port tomorrow? Next year? Next decade? Apparently "years later, if at all" is what "soon" means to them.
Edit: apparently some people fail at basic reading comprehension, so I highlighted some words in my original response. It's THQ Nordic, and only THQ Nordic who gets to decide whether or not gog users gat a Linux port.. The most gog can do is badger the publisher, but they can't even badger Larian into fixing their broken extras, so I don't think gog has enough power to sway anyone.
