I was beginning to think that nobody would ever fix this game and that I'd have to play my old version with the community patch, slowdown tools, and still sometimes put up with wrong colours in-game.

Hopefully we can see the other Wildfire pinball engine games soon? Dirt Track Racing Pinball, Devil's Island Pinball, Austin Powers Pinball, and (spit) Kiss Pinball.

Yes, I was quite happy to see this GOG release. My previous experience with the demo was all sorts of funky, and BoS is known to be pretty finicky on newer setups, so I never even considered buying it until now. Thankfully, GOG did indeed do a superb job getting this game to play as it should. Sure, the load times are a little lengthy, but if that means the game's working smoothly I'm totally fine by that. It's a blast despite the not-so (self-touted) realistic physics.

Seems like they just set up a setup with balls of steel and bossloader in it which already existed.

GOG jusr repacked it thats all...

Game still plays slow however.
