Hello, i just bought the game recently and wanted to play it in lan, but the problem is no one can join my game even if i gave my local ip to them, but when it's an older OS like windows 7/xp that host, they can join.
I wonder if there something i need to do for hosting lan game on my win10.
I tried some other old game in lan like Age of Empire and Diablo 2 and i have the same issue.
(I tried to host a Lan game one a XP Virtual Machine on my win 10 but it doesn't work either)

I needed an IPX wrapper to get it working on Win7, but I don't know if they'll work for Win10.

I don't know where a link is, but you can google it. (this worked for this guy too)

After playing some Enhanced Edition, I'm loving it. Multiplayer is easy to connect to. So if you have the funds, I'd go that route. It's fast and easy.
