As of right now, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 have some great discount on Steam... Should I get them there or is GOG gonna have a similar sale soon?

Only the enhanced editions are on Steam.

You are correct and it is those editions that are interesting to me.

When you buy the game on GOG, you buy BOTH classic and EE versions of the game. Which can come quite handy if you want to see the originals. And yes, there is a high chance that it will go on sale. Dont hate me if it doesnt tho :))

Haha don't worry I won't! I am much more inclined to buy here on GOG instead of Steam and since you get even the classic edition of each, guess I'll wait, I still have to get through Pillars of Eternity!

Buy it on ebay instead. If you support crap companies like Beamdog you are part of the problem.
