Ok so I am running a sorcerer and for some reason I can't figure out how to get spells to cast. I try clicking the spell buttons on the bottom and selecting them in my book but nothing works. What am I doing wrong? I've go though the manual but it doesn't seem to describe how combat works.

Select them by clicking on them on the bottom of the interface in the spells section and click on a target.

Problem is the bottom stays little stars giving no indication what spells are selected.

Never mind, figured it out. When you start the game, you have to rest first. You would think that if you start the game new, you get them. Odd

Oh yeah. That's standard in D&D (I should have mentioned it).
Resting always gives you the spells that you memorized, but not if your rest is interrupted.
