i recently purchased baldur's gate enhanced edition from GOG but i can't figure out how to make the save game editor work. i have disabled cloud saves and begun a new game but it doesn't show my save game in the list. am i missing or forgetting something? can someone help me out? :-)

You need to specify your save location in Settings >> Installation Directory.

i have. or at least i think i have. no amount of tweaking seems to help. it's very frustrating. :-(

SUCCESS!! i figured it out on my own.

i needed to point to the installation folder in one place and the saved games in another. i was trying to point to one folder for both. ugh!

I had a very similar issue. I did have the installation and save game directories in different places. Worked great through BGI. I'm doing Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Trilogy. When it transitionedfrom BGI to BGII, I found I needed to manually update the installation directory from BGI installation directory to the BGII installation directory leaving save directory alone at BGEET save directory in documents..
