I never had a problem with beating the IWD games or PST, however the BG games have aklways brought me a step closer to cancer!

I had to summon (cheating) a couple of Drizzts in BG1 to beat Sarevok. I did not cheat in the rest of the game, but Sarevok would not go down.

Irenicus was a lot easier on BG2, however, I am now fighting Amelyssan, final battle in ToB.

And she just WON'T go down dammit.

I revelled in the fact that I could save between the "rounds" of the fight, after disrupting her pool sucking process, so I have cleansed the second pool and I have saved there (I have a lot more savefiles earlier), but it's just the moment when my characters start breaking up and tiring, and also my magic starts wearing off.

I have not cheated on BG2, but I am really almost ready to do it. I don't know how really, by healing ym characters? By leveling up? I don't know, I'll see what I'll do.

The thing is, while I edited the baldur.ini file, the right one (there are two files on Vista) and now, finally, the console appears, cheats just don't feel like activating - I am quite sure I just suck at writing the commands. I am running the game on a laptop and on Vista, so if anyone has an idea, shoot it.

What really pisses me off with these games, is seeing people beating them with simply one character, and me having trouble beating them with a fully balanced party. Damn, do I suck so much?
