It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

My friend and I have been trying to get a multiplayer game going for about a week. Ive tried opening all the ports, gameranger, I even turned OFF my router firewall and windows firewall so there would be no reason the connection couldn't be made. we've tried hamachi, running in windows xp service pack 2 compatable mode, and still nothing.
Have you checked you baldur.ini to make sure that GameSpy is disabled? It should be:

[GameSpy]
Enabled=0

Also make sure that your game is not installed in 'Program Files' (UAC issue), and that you have full admin and network rights.
My game is not in programs and I deleted baldur.ini and still nothing.
I didn't ask you to delete you Baldur.ini, I asked you to check it for an entry.
1st You can’t connect without your firewall working.

2nd What type of internet connection have you got? Eg. (tcp/ip) would be broadband in my country.

3rd Are you able to make a basic multi-player game i.e. you entered both a session name & player name (don’t use a password) or is it that you are not even getting that far?
