Hi. I'd like to download BG3 EA, but my hard drive is a little cramped of late and I need to know how much space it will take up.

The system requirements say I need 150 gigs, but it says the game is only 67 gigs.

I'm confused.

I think the installer said it would be 83 gigs installed. As long as you have that much you should be ok.
My installer says 65 gig at present
It is really a bit unclear here, what the 150GB in the requirements section meant.

For EA you need 150GB total on possibly different logical drives, with at least 66GB for installer files on the one drive, and at least 83GB for the actual installation on the other.
So it's a bit easier, at least for me, than free 150GB straight on a single volume.
Let good old SequoiaView helps you finding those files you can dismiss and clean up your HD or SSD.

Because I cannot post links, just got to "The SequoiaView Hompepage" in the Netherlands yourself :-)

Larian said the game, installed, is 80 gigs. They said they recommended 150 GBs capacities for people with only one hard drive--you'd need that much at least with your booting OS and utilites, plus the game. Still, most people are going to have at least 250GBs in an SSD or NVMe--I myself have ~8TBs of drive space--only about half filled atm. Good grief, 7200rpm 1 TB HDDs are $50 US these days...

The 67GB download is the installer, which is compressed, of course. Game size should not be an issue for anyone these days. Red Dead Redpetion II for PC was a ~100GB download--takes up ~117GB installed on a drive, IIRC.
