Hey guys, so a while ago I put down BG3 and couldn't continue playing due to schoolwork. Well, spring break rolls around, and I decide to try to start playing again. BG3 keeps crashing when it loaded 50%, consistently, every single time. So I decided to uninstall it and install it on a bigger micro sd card so I downloaded BG3 without trouble, then all the updates.

Now BG3 won't even open because "File or Directory is corrupted and unreadable". And now i can't even uninstall it. What am I supposed to do now? I did all the drive checks possible, my computer is telling me my drive is ~perfectly healthy~ which adds an extra layer of frustration.

Can someone help me figure out how to uninstall this? I would just delete everything but GOG won't let me redownload ANYTHING unless i use the 'official' uninstaller (ugh).

a micro sd is for storage not installs

you need internal hdd or ssd with 200G free space and not c program files so C Galaxy or C games

how to move forward [assuming you have a drive with that free space] is copy the bg3 folder from your micro into the internal, lets say C Galaxy/ Games/ BG3 then open Galaxy and point it to that folder to scan for games... it should find the bg3 once thats done you need to verify the files and then sign into your Larian account
