Edit: For clarification, per Larian Twitter, it was stated those that own the game in Early Access will be automatically upgraded to Digital Deluxe (as opposed to Collector's Edition, as OP stated.)

Collector's Edition = email unlock code and thats from Larian only i.e, not Steam or Gog

Yes i was wondering the same, does are game on GOG automaticly just start saying we own digital deluxe? At the moment i do not see on GOG any where that i have more then jsut the reg version how do u tell??

I had pre-ordered the version and the corresponding DLC was directly marked as "purchased" today.
In other words, the DLC was automatically unlocked. That is not true...

The deluxe is not the same thing

For those having issues with the DLC upgrade, make sure you have your GoG galaxy updated and do a restart on GoG galaxy. I started it up for myself with an older version of Galaxy and there was no sign of the deluxe DLC upgrade but I had a notice about needing GoG galaxy updates, I redownloaded GoG galaxy and did a new installation/update and started it up again and the Digital Deluxe upgrade DLC showed up for download in the extra's section of my game library for Baldurs Gate 3.
