Dear GOG Community,

We've created a wiki for BG3 that's completely ad-free and will hopefully contain better information than the commercial one that currently dominates the Google results.

It seems I can't post links yet as I've only just registered, but the website is literally just "bg3 (dot) wiki" (yes you can have a domain name ending in .wiki nowadays)

There's already some amazing contributors who wrote pages that are incredibly detailed and comprehensive. I have high hopes that we could become the go-to resource for fans of the game.

I think making a wiki when Larian changes the game code every patch is putting the horse behind the cart but good luck with that

You're right of course that we'll have to make sure to stay up to date as new patches come out and eventually the full game is released, but I think it's good to start already, because it's unlikely that changes will be so drastic that we would need to completely rewrite pages.

For example, if we already have dozens of pages documenting the available spells, actions, equipment, characters, etc., then all we have to do is tweak a few numbers on some of the pages whenever a patch or the full release changes things.
