Just a tip when planning your bombing, i worked out that the reconnaissance plane fly from west to east in the reccy film. So look closely at the target buildings density and then when you are in the waypoint planning map (west is left on the map - unadjusted ) adjust the I.P. So that your bombing run is going to drop those bombs along the densest amount of buildings as per the reconnaissance video.
Doing so will allow you to completely destroy your targets.
The first mission, bombing Brest U-boat pens, is a good example of this Adjust your primary ip waypoint so it is horizontal on the map and runs over the target (it's a default east to west) and you will wipe the target out.

It is possible to change the angle from north to south, or even SW to NE in the riversandroads.db file. Its actually quite easy to use, with added option to have them at a lower altitude (so you can see even the smallest buildings) or you can make the run-up longer, so you have more of a view of the target area before the objective. I find this helps as bombadier, to memorize the run up pattern.
