Recently purchased this on GOG and it installs and plays without any issues on my laptop. However, the framerate is so terrible and the control lag so noticeable that it's unplayable. I have tried playing around with graphics and sound settings, but nothing seems to make a major difference. My laptop has plenty of RAM and is running Windows 8 and it generally copes with anything but the most recent and graphically demanding games, and I expected much better performance from this game.

Anyone else had the same problem and found a solution?
