I'm starting off my event with the newest Avernum (Avernum: EFTP) which sadly isn't on GoG yet. However, I will be playing the entire series throughout my event (will be very long)!

What kind of other isometric plays have you done/will you be doing/please recommend me some?

DnD series - Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, Temple of Elemental Evil, Neverwinter Nights series

Gorky 17 (maybe)
Septerra Core
Nox (maybe)

While I've only popped in for a minute here and there, I say you're doing a fine job with Avernum. Not having played it yet I won't watch, but I'll keep an eye open for when you move on to something I've already finished.
