Looking at the homepage, the Author of the games offers a hintbook. Why isn't this included in the Bonus for the Avernum Set? It would be nice to have the official hintbook included.

The Hint Books are actual printed books that are sold separately and posted out. Something like those Prima Guides you can get.
They are not available as PDFs either. There was a brief discussion about them on the Geneforge board at GoG
