When you finish one episode and start another are you given the option of transferring characters over? Do any items carry over? And does any quest completed in an episode affect a future episode? TIA

no, no,and no each installment while following a story arc of sorts they are set a number of years apart especially 4-which take place a few thousand years after Avernum 1-3. So you start with a fresh set of characters each time

What happened to my peeps in Avernum 1?

You know what I don't recall if it's ever established what happens to them after Avernum 1. I know the heroes of the second game stay on with the military for some years after the great war but the first band nothing, for all know they become outcasts for starting the Empire-Avernum war.

You cant be serious. I thought you just got the game. If you really did already beat the 1st game you get props. Ive been playing Ave: EFTP remake (which is smaller) for a month and im still not finished with my 2nd playthrough :)
