I recognized that the linux version is not working anymore, probably, because the videos in webm format are missing as the log says. It just stays black after starting. I have an older version which ahs the webm movies and it is working with them.

I can confirm that the webm format videos are missing in 1.179, but not in 1.177. However, the game (other than prerendered videos, I guess) works still. Just press escape a time or two to get past the initial black screen. Also, copying the webm videos from 1.177 makes them work again.

Thanks. The fix was put up by gog today. Seems OK now.

I have just downloaded the game (I presume, the latest version since I failed to find an option to download earlier versions) and *.webm are missing.

If the game does not work for you, please contact gog support instead of replying to a 1year+ old message from someone who works for neither gog nor AtomTeam. Replying to me won't accomplish anything. I don't play games any more (and quite a few updates have happened since the last time I looked at ATOM), and I'm not even sure why I still visit this site. Probably nostalgia. Wake me when Disgaea is released on gog (i.e., not in my lifetime).

You know that the problem is back in the current version, don't you? When will you patch it? :)
