I havent been bought the game yet, but planning on doing so. Reading the reviews, a recurring theme seems to be that many builds "arent viable" to make it through the game. Shotguns are my favorite type of gun, both in gaming, and in real life. Is a shotgun specialist able to make it through this game, or will I be fodder for sniper rifle laden bandits?

The early hand-crafted double and triple barrel boomsticks work wonders on mutant beasts and bandits alike...
(Until they get armor)
