My character bought a portable radio to a caravanner because they didn't have enough money. I'm just wondering if it's a usable item or not. I equipped it but nothing happened, no crackling, no sign whatsoever that it is working. From what i've read on the web, it's useless but maybe things have changed lately?

The radio is not a key item by any means.
