I have encountered a strange bug recently with 'Atlantis I' (I am on Windows 7 x64): the main menu is invisible in the game, i.e. pressing ESC shows nothing.
Luckily, I was able to identify the guilty party - nVidia drivers (at least 355.82 and 358.50). Getting back to May drivers (352.86) solved the problem for me!
Maybe somebody else would face this bug - or maybe GOG could patch the game? As I doubt that nVidia would correct it in the future.
