I am wondering whether i should buy the glitchy pc version of game on gog or if i should order it for xbox? Which would work better?

It depends on your preference, really, and how much you are willing to risk. I have never personally had any issues with my GOG copy, so I can't say how bad any of the glitches are that can pop up.

You should also consider how easy it would be to get an Xbox copy. From the brief look I've taken, it would be somewhat difficult to get it for a decent price.

But really, even if you buy it from GOG and you run into some glitches, six bucks shouldn't hurt you too much.
