...He stammers too much and has an alarmingly close relationship with trees?
He has a dark and gritty past which will haunt him until turns and faces it?
He is not a very good follower of the Panarii. He should stick to what he's good at instead.
I wonder why he edited out his post. Odd...
ICARUS DID IT!
RUN!
What's up with Virgil? Well, often apparently he's bugged, that's a pain.
Just in case anybody wants to know what the original post said (in a nutshell), he was asking why Virgil speaks American English when he has an English accent.
TV Tropes: We All Live In America
Not as specific as it sounds. Basically, if he's got American habits and style, it's probably because the writers were American.
I wonder what of his habits are American. Picking up trash? Favouring cursed items over nice ones? Leisurely strolling at nice, slow pace during fights?

It's all in the voice actor they choose. Look at Prince of Qin, why do the Chinese sound English with broken sentences? It's all a part of what they can afford, where the game dialogue is recorded, and the budget in translation if needed.

This is a fantasy world as well, so at the end of the day, no one really knows how they sound! How would an Elf really sound? Or a smart Ogre, compared to a dumb one? Voice acting can be fun, but this is why I like only text in games, I get to create it with my own imagination.
