Are either Darkemagicks or Magic Mod any good? I'm tempted to give them a try because one of the bigger flaws of this great game is the lack of balance especially between magic schools but Darkemagicks, after reading the readme, seems pretty poor though I can't say since I haven't tried it.

Darkemagicks makes magics more powerful. If you've played through the game, you know that that is the last thing this game needs. Never tried the other one.

I think what the game needs most is gun rebalancing, although I haven't found an appropriate mod for that.
