How do I destroy the bridge materials in the first town? I click on it and nothing happens. I go to combat mode and nothing happens? any help?

Don´t know exactly how, but you can give your teammate order to attack those things, but before doing this, be sure that he is equipped with a "worthless" weappon. It will be damaged.

You don´t have to destroy the materials, to advance in the story.

well its an easy way to get past the thieves so thats why I was asking :] but I figure it out. you click and press alt.

Yep... you need to be careful of damaging your weapons though. I usually tell my followers to back off so they don't break their weapons on whatever it is that I'm smashing, and if you switch to a heavier weapon like an axe I think it's not damaged when chopping objects up. You can also use fists but you'll take some damage.

There's dynamite in the mine I believe. If you've still got that on you it's probably ideal for the job.

I suggest holding on to all the dynamite you find for destroying anything that's being guarded - if no one sees you plant it, you can walk away and not get in trouble for breaking things or injuring people; since the wood pile is un-monitored, you can take your time to punch it, heal, repeat. (Especially if you have a half-Ogre!)

Just remove the weapons from your companions and attack. They won't die from doing it. Well, maybe if they critically fail...

And just a heads-up for the rest of the game, if you've not got anyone in the party with lockpicking skills, bare-fist bashing is the best way to get stuff out of locked chests without breaking everything inside. :)
