Did anyone else kill him?

I found his ransacked house before I was given the quest to find him, and thought the tracks were supposed to be from the Stillwater Giant.

I followed them to the cave and found a bunch of bones everywhere and Cyrus locked in a cage asking to be freed. I remembered reading that one book about the Stillwater Giant in the Tarant library where it suggests that the monster is actually a wizard, and I was thinking it was a trick and he would transform after being released, so I picked the lock on the cell and then immediately blew his head off.

It turns out he really WAS captured by an ogre though. An ogre that apparently makes dinosaur tracks in the snow.

That's a great story. I'm not making fun of you though. I think I may have killed him too during my first game. I don't remember why.

Bah. Kill 'em all; let the great Nasrudin sort 'em out.

Oh wait. You're supposed to be Nasrudin, at least according to Virgil.

True. I mean, if Nasrudin killed him, he must have deserved it for some reason.
