After steal the tombstone from the elves ruins, i went back to Pettibone house. Once there, I refused to give her the tombstone because one of the answers was give the object to Mrs. Willoughby, and i thought it was the good karma answer, but i can´t found her. I was looking in other forums but none talks about this alternate solution to the quest. Now, Miss Pettibone don´t want to talk with me again, and i can´t complete the quest.

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but unless you start over from a saved game before you took that dialog option, you've blown the quest.

If you look in your logbook, you'll see that the quest has been colored red and crossed out. In the future, quick-save (F7) right before initiating a dialog, so you can use quick-reload (F8) to start over and try something else.

Might as well dump the stone in a random trash can; it's of no use to anyone now. Shame you had to kill all those elves and zombies for nothing. :p
Couldn't you bring it to Mrs Willoughby instead? The dialogue choice you selected seems to indicate that that's your next step.

The only problem with that is, there's no Mrs. Willoughsby in the game. Go to the Willoughsby residence (the big building just in front of the cemetery/mausoleum) and see for yourself.

The option was just there to add color; it's not a viable quest solution.
I suppose you could go there and leave the stone on the floor. It won't accomplish anything, but role-play wise it sounds like the best you'll get short of modding the game.

Could you maybe give it to the housekeeper? Or maybe she's in Caladan with her husband? Granted, it'd be a bitch to lug that thing all the way there, given how heavy it is and how much space it takes up, but it's a thought nevertheless.

Nope, not then, either; all you have is Dante standing in the street watching the front of the house.

However, there is a sewer grate in the corner of the bedroom, which can make for an interesting side-trip into a hidden room of the sewers. Just be sure to save first.
Thanks to everyone. The problem is that the quest is still in green in the mission log. Anyway, I think that this is a non finished way, by the developers, for solve the quest .

Thanks again :)

ps: Sorry if my grammar isn´t perfect, I´m not native.

Glad to help. It's always possible that the unresolved dialog tree could be a bug after all; a game this open and in-depth can be forgiven for missing a few loose ends here and there.

If it's in green, then it's a solved one.

There are four possibilities for quest entries in the log:
- black - quest is mentioned, but not accepted by player. In most cases you can do the quest anyway and go back for the reward.
- blue - quest accepted.
- green - quest is done, although there could still be some dialogues and/or rewards elsewhere for this quest!
- red - quest failed. There's nothing you can do about it, except for loading a saved game from before you botched it. :)

So, there still might be a solution (in terms of reward for a quest) - maybe you need a higher CHA, INT or Persuasion skill to unlock a dialogue? Or it could be screwed permanently - some quests are one-offs: you have only one (or two) chance(s) and then it's gone.

My fault, it´s in blue. Sorry :)
