The title.

Too bad it is not as much well known or popular like Fallout, so the chances of getting a sequel, prequel, or spiritual sequel are small.

Any title comes to mind when you think about cRPG Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura?

PC only, I ain't after console RPGs, since they're usually dumbed down.

One title that comes to my mind is The Age of Decadence, although it's more similar to aforementioned Fallout, than Arcanum. Post-apo world in a setting that looks like the Roman Empire at the first glance. With a twist. High replayability value due to large portions of a story limited to one or some of eight backgrounds available at the start of the game, combined with several factions you can join or betray, which also opens or closes different ways. Combat is hard, but there are possibilities to solve problems without bloodshed. Crafting of weapons, armour and alchemy is present and very helpful (essential in some cases). A couple of quite different endings.

There was a discussion about this some time ago. You can probably gets some ideas from that thread:

Looks good but like you said, it's more Fallouty, I'm looking for something that is similar to Troika's isometric RPG, not Fallout (for Fallout I already found similar game, it's called Underrail). But thanks for the suggestion Kerebron.

Oh, didn't know about that topic! Thanks for posting the link.

Besides Wizardry 8 and VtM:B (which I finished), is there any other title you would recommend, UniversalWolf?

Nothing's exactly like Arcanum, of course, but I have some ideas. It sounds like you want to stay in an unusual fantasy or semi-fantasy setting.

If you haven't played Planscape: Torment yet, that might be a good choice. There's an enhanced edition in the works, but I'd probably grab it before that comes out so you don't have to get it in a bundle with the new one. There's really nothing that needs to be enhanced, you see.

You could try Temple of Elemental Evil. You've played Arcanum and Bloodlines. ToEE is Troika's only other game. It's flawed in a lot of ways because it's based pretty strictly on a classic PnP Dungeons & Dragons module, but it's got great combat. It's sort of the opposite of Planscape Torment which has a great story (arguably the best story ever in a cRPG) and not-so-great combat.

If you don't mind the simple graphics, you could check out the Geneforge series from Spiderweb. They look kind of cheap at first glance, but they're actually really good.

Someone in the other thread mentioned Arx Fatalis. I just played that recently and I really enjoyed it. It's first-person so it's a little different, but it's got a very interesting setting and magic system.

That should get you started, I guess. I feel like I'm forgetting something, but if I think of it I'll let you know.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I remember now (30 seconds later). You might take a look at the new Shadowrun games from Harebrained Schemes. I didn't like them quite as much the others I've mentioned, but a lot of people do. Dragonfall is probably the best one.

I have played PS:T and the first Shadowrun (PC version) to the end.
I'm gonna try Geneforge games and ToEE, since I already own them here (bought in sale, but my backlog didn't allow me try 'em, at the time).
The other titles will have to wait a bit more.
Thanks for the help.
