ConradCoggs: I installed the June 2010 DirectX runtime package that they suggest in the general help but it did nothing.
Have you sent in a support ticket?

[[EDIT]] Also, suggested from a completely different thread, you may try deleting (or, I'd suggest to avoid complications if it mucks everything up, renaming) directdraw.dll, or else trying a few edits to the config file. No idea if this could help you at all, but you may want to read over the thread and see if any of that will help you.
