I've opened and played a little of Anna's Quest about a half-dozen times. So far, only one of those times (the second or third?) has any audio for the character voices been audible. I have no idea what was different the one time things worked as expected; simply bizarre. I've checked and fiddled with the in-game audio settings, of course. macOS 12.6.

Any ideas, neighbours?
