Hey, I've been trying - well for now gave up - to get thru the mini-game of entering hive...
What's up with the aim? Ok, nice to have some challenge, but is it really supposed to be that you have to aim mostly a bit above the targets? It's kinda ridicilous, especially with the flying bug that cames by as a sort of boss or something, it's constantly moving and how are you supposed to hit that space above its head... I don't want to put down this great game, but is there a fix for this or what the hell :)
the mouse is too sensitive anyhow even with trying to fix that through the options menu. It's just mad in my opinion.

Yeah this is old but I figure since it's an issue I also have it's worth using the same thread to avoid google search results spam etc.

Anyway my issue with it is more figuring out the hell you're supposed to be going/doing in this hard to control steaming pile of junk... I wouldn't mind the "minigame" if you could actually control the movement but nope...

The aiming being as bad as it is I had to slow it down with an external prog so I'm running it at 25% speed.

I figure GoG with their patched versions of older games might be able to patch minigames like this out dunno.. hell it's tempt me to buy a copy through them to repalce my steam one if it actually let me skip the unplayable minigames such as this one
You're supposed to shoot crystals and membranes so that you can stop going in circles and enter new areas. Anyway, if you find it annoying, I'm sure there was a prompt to skip the whole deal if you get destroyed by the flying bugs.
