chricton: Has anyone gotten more than one Shadow Bracers? I tried 3 times (yes, 21 hours of letting PAL play and different permutations of active gear) and still only came up with ONE. Not that I intended to play the game with them active, but I hate like HE** to be stuck and dying over and over. A little invulnerability can be useful at times. ;)
I'm pretty sure I eventually got Shadow Bracers from somewhere else, since I know for a fact that I definitely didn't have the patience to stick PAL in there. Though apparently you can use the console to advance time (this might be mentioned in the walkthrough on GameFAQS if you're interested).
I think it's possible to buy them from somewhere, but I can't remember where. I imagine you'd have to be advanced past a certain point in the plot before they became available too (this isn't in that guide, so either it's missing or I'm mistaken - but I'm still sure I had them at some point somehow).
BTW where are you dying over and over? I found 99.99% of battles in Anox to be really easy, and that's on the hardest setting. The only trouble I ever had was with the Doorlord, and maybe I died a few times on the final battle (which can be annoying due to the massive cutscene that precedes it).
