I thought I'd just share that I have this game working in Wine in Linux Mint 15, 64 bit. Yes, I know there's a Linux version on Desura, but it wasn't 75% off. :D
Please note that I am NOT an expert and probably can't answer too many questions if you have problems, but I just thought I'd share what I have figured out so far.
First of all, I kept getting an error when trying to run setup_amnesia_2.0.0.2.exe in Wine, but I found a solution on the Tomb Raider 1-2-3 forums from another Wine user. Make sure "winetricks" is installed and run "winetricks gdiplus," sudo not required.
After that, I was able to run the installer, though there were graphical glitches in the installer, and there were errors, but the game itself seems to run fine so far. I've played for about fifteen minutes.
I can't compare to how it runs on Windows because I've never tried it. But I'm impressed; I'm usually underwhelmed by Wine, but it works pretty well in this case, I'd say.
