Does it exist?

Asking because on moddb there are two mods (BetterReticle and TrueCrosshairs) available that seem to scale down the otherwise comically large reticles to a much more acceptable and realistic size (or replace the original ones with crosshairs) but for some reason also fuck around with all of the weapons' accuracy values which, of course I'd rather avoid.

That's the 'BetterReticle' one I already mentioned in the OP, which also changes the accuracy values of all weapons and thus completely throws off the balancing.

OK. I know I like that one much better. I never seen one for size.
Maybe it can be edited in one of the ini files

ModDB has TrueCrosshairs v1.1 which gives you a more traditional cross style crosshair. not exactly what you are looking for but it is just a texture mod, so it won't adjust the game balance at least.
