I really tried hard to connect to any multiplayer game, but it seems to be impossible. I set Firewall, even anti-virus off, but no way. Sorry, but this way i won´t be able to help you with galaxy ...

Are you starting the game from the beta client?
Does it say Up To Date below the game name?

When trying to connect to online matches, i sometimes get no matches at all for a few minutes after starting the game. Starting singleplayer or skirmish and coming back usually gets it to work.
