I'm running a laptop with win7, when the game gets to the main menu, my mouse won't work! Help!! I'm trying to play the first one.

I would also like some suggested fixes. Thanks.

That is a bit odd. I take it you're running in full screen mode, I wonder if it works if you put the game into Window mode?

I have the same problem and I confirm the game is only playable in window mode.
Too bad there is no way to change the resolution in window mode !

You can maximise the window, or resize it using the bottom right corner can't you?

Indeed you can, though I imagine it gets slightly irritating as you have to resize it every time you start the game. Well, maximizing wouldn't be that bad, but resizing to a certain amount would get irritating.

i am also playing this game on a netbook, Win7/64, and i haven't encountered this problem. the game has always opened full screen and the mouse is always enabled. have you tried changing resolution? (actually, i have a completely different issue -- after playing for months with no problems, now when i open the game, i get the opening narration but no graphics. odd but not really important, just wondering how that could happen.)
