I'm trying to install AoW on Windows 7 64-bit and the installer crashes with an error about Sunset.it being corrupted. If I ignore it, the game installs and seem to work, but I'm afraid it might crash at some moment because the mod file (Sunset.it) is missing.

Trying to extract the game files manually with innoextract doesn't display any messages but the extraction gets stucked when extracting sunset.it.

I found a copy of sunset.it on the net in some mod archive and copied it to Sounds\Special in the game folder, so this might fix it for me (I think it's the end game music so I wouldn't know if it work unless I "beat" the game :)). It's probably ok: the file plays succesfully with VLC and the music style is pretty similar to the mod files already installed.

AoW installer was downloaded yesterday with GOG Downloader so both the installer and the game are the latest version.

Edit: Just downloaded mp3 soundtrack from GOG and confirmed that the mod (*.it) file I downloaded elsewhere is the same as original.

This seems to be the installer problem. Just got the similar problem with an another game. Where did the file integrity check go from the installer? Is there any option to check the integrity of download?

Anyway, I'll try redownload.
Ok, I downloaded AoW installer not using GOG downloader and it installed fine, so it's definitely GOG downloader problem.

Anyway AoW installed fine and it's working now.
