Hi, just wondering if anybody has encounters and/or can help me with a bug occurring on a newly downloaded version of Age of Wonders Shadow Magic, running on 64-bit Windows. When the game launches, the opening cutscene will be in a small window and will freeze on what I can only assume is the first frame, however the sound still plays. On the odd time I do get to the main menu, the screen freezes and I am unable to use the game. However, it seems the cursor is still working as I can see it moving when another image e.g. the volume up overlay is put over the screen. This lasts only a few seconds.

Any Help would be much appreciated,
Thanks

MrColmBain: I am unable to use the game.
Use the config in the program folder menu and mess with Direct 3D drawing. That seems to have solved a similar issue for many other posters in this thread. :)

Have fun when you get it working. The campaigns in Shadow Magic are fun, but losing multi-player games is much more fun (and the occasional victory isn't bad either).
