Well of course all of the men both small and great who have fallen while fighting on the side of Good will get their heavenly reward. Let's just say that the shining armor-covered bosoms of the valkyries who pick them up from the battlefield, is just the beginning.

I guess the Orcs are just the best race. Orc Warlords and Red Dragons are epic. Just as Karaghs of the Goblins but they lack defense and wall crushing. I mean the other tier 4 units of other races hardly compare.
Undead by far. The seductive Vampire, the Bone Horror and of course the deaded Reaper are strong and funny to play.

Second came the Dark Elves, i simply love the Bladedancer I think it's a unit stronger of many tier 3 units, especially when buffed with some spell like enchant weapon or dark gift.

Funny you say that. In my experience, the bladedancer is way too slow and way to easily killed because it lacks defence and hitpoints. I like double strike, for example on the Doom Bats it works great.

Vampire is cool, also because it has concealment :)

Archons are the most shitty race to play, they have got no decent units at all except for the saint.

Instead, I do not like Doom Bats basically for the same reason you do not like Bladedancers. Funny thing indeed :)

Point taken, doom bats do not have a high defence or hitpoints, but they have lifestealing to compensate. Dark gift and enchanted weapon do not speed up the bladedancer, nor improve its vulnarability...
To me the Bladedancer is a berserker type of unit which means that it's great at dealing damage, but in the process almost always take damage itself. The Bladedancer kills units faster than a Doom bat if it survives. It's not completely well rounded, but makes up for it with abilities like Concealment, Night vision, Cave crawling and Forestry.

The Doom bat however focuses much more on safety with 15 defense and abilities like Lifestealing + Double Strike and Flying. The low health and low damage is almost irrelevant because most units can't reach it, only have few opportunities for retaliation, and then they have to deal with 15 defense. I've lost stacks of level 1 unit in the first scenario of the campaign to the Doom bat when I was new to the game, and when I finally got one myself, I did the same to the enemy AI.

Otherwise I like the idea of dark gift, because Double strike increases the chance to curse an enemy unit, and once the unit is cursed, the Bladedancer does 50% more damage on each hit.

Potato_head's analysis it is very exhaustive. In my experience a party with 4-5 Bladedancers buffed with enhanced weapon and dark gift overwhelm parties with stronger tier units with much less losses than one would expect, with a bit of luck of course.

Yeah, I would do something similar or combine with other units. The point is that the Bladedancer is a berserker type of unit. It needs company in order to survive. Personally I would add a few healers; they also have 28 movement points and Bladedancers could always use healing.

Well of course I am! But because of certain circumstances that need not be mentioned here I have been forced to move around a lot. Currently I reside in Bali, Indonesia and I have no plans to move my ass for a while.
High Men and Archons. Donned in shiny armor, wielding the spears made of celestial light. Invincible and sexy... :)
