Hello everyone, was hoping someone could help me out with a problem I am having. Looking to play
AOW online with friends but for some reason gameranger has stopped working for me with a friend in particular. was wondering if there are other networks to play AOW online

Also if anyone is interested in playing games in this fashion let me know and id be happy to start some games up

Sounds like a port forwarding issue - if that happened without any concomitant windows or firewall upgrade...
You both disable the FW and test, if that's not it then either of you probably has the wrong port forwarded. If you're on wifi sometimes the router changes IP and you need to redo the port forwarding.

How would I go about redoing the port forwarding?

when we do an invite on Gameranger and start the room it takes us to the game introduction page as opposed to the scenario map selection. Can I then go to scenario/TCP/host new if we were to enter the proper IP address? Or do we need to find a solution that takes us directly to the scenario map selection?

If the second player connects then it does it all automatically, and there's no other way afaik.
