First time i started the game i could choose resolution but now starting it again i can't choose anything but Window. What's wrong?

Question 1: What version of the game are you asking about? AoW, AoW2:TWT, AoW2:SM, or AOW3?

Question 2: Did you try using the Settings program in the AoW folder? It lets you pick the resolution and whether resolution changes are allowed...

Run the setup program in compatibility mode and all the options that should appear will be reinstated.
