It's a bit embarrassing, because I'm sure that I'm missing something, but when I open up the save interface, how do I actually save? I'm expecting that I can type in the save name in a text field somewhere, but there is none. There's drop-down for the drive name, a file explorer, and a list of saved games (the autosaves), but I can't figure out how to name my save and save. If I just lick on "save" without touching anything, it won't save. I clicked around in in the interface to see if I can get a cursor to show up to indicate that I found the text field, but nothing came up. The only way I could save was to click on one of the existing save files (the autosaves) and overwrite that.

Figured it out, there is after all a text field that I couldn't find before for some reason. For anyone else as blind as me, it's right above the icons that show up in the bottom of the save window.

Can I interest you in a PBEM?

Like Thereunto says, if you ever feel like playing a multiplayer game with us via email (which means player vs player battles are automated sadly), do let us know. I've made some very good looking, reasonably fun and not balanced maps for multiplayer lately. We could really do with another player! There's also a discord group for live AoW2 games.
