Lenn got her chance to prove herself when she was sent for diplomatic mission to Commonwealth province in verge of rebellion. Problem centers were towns and villages consisting of high elves, who refused cooperation and work with Commonwealth's industries becouse of pollution. Lenn told to strike leaders that if she couldn't resolve problems and disagreements, someone else would come later, possibly with armed support. Then she introduced ways to reduce pollution. Grudginly, strike leaders accepted Lenn's proposal.
Under Lenn's guidance many mines, refineries, workshops, and other industries started using natural powers of wind and water flows. Where use of coal and oil were necessary, filters were installed to reduce pollution. Advanced farming machinery and fertilizers were brought to increase food production. Strikers were pleased to Lenn's innovations and went back to work. They gave Lenn nickname Teräskäsi, which in their language means Steelhand.
