It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

No game is currently active, so let's create another one.

You can suggest your maps, unless you want one of those suggested at the end of Banned (then suggest one of them :-))

Naturally I am in. :-)

If you'll allow your arch nemesis, then I will play. If not, I will make lots of comments from the sideline like I'm at a kids sporting event and the refs need new bifocals.

Wenne expressed interest, but may not be near a computer for a few days due to family obligations. (Insert your favorite joke about sales at the corner coffee shop in Amsterdam not really being a "family" emergency.)
I would very much like to play another game.

My email: potato_head[dot]aow2sm[at]ymail[dot]com

I can not play AOW1 and don't have any map suggestions, but generally it would be nice to have a lot of distractions and things to do each turn. Starting with many troops and heroes was quite nice in Wizard's Folly. Maybe the map is too large though so a smaller would be better (or skip shadowland).
I am in. I will look up some maps later. Rebels86 at hotmail dot com
I'm in as well. catermune[at]yahoo[dot]com
I'm not signing up till you pick a map. I left you some.
You should ask Santeria.

You might just go with a stock map.

There aren't very many good stock maps for more than 4 players it seems. Here are a couple:

Reign of Chaos is a 6 player map with two levels that seem very well balanced. Everyone has a weak starting position but are far from each other with many large cities to capture.

River of Life is a 8 player map with a large winding river running through the middle and two small tunnels running under it. Starting positions are very close together so there would be a lot of early deaths unless it were played as a 4v4. Also the host should replace the one lizard city on the map with humans or azracs since it gives Dark Elves a huge advantage.
It is really tough to find a good mid-size custom map that isn't too heavy on story or overly complicated. Eversong Woods seems pretty good though. It is a 12 player map but isn't too big and there are lots of cities between players.

Eversong woods looks fairly balanced, though it might take awhile to start up.

Just gifted you (the aow email address above) the game. Now you have no excuses and I have somebody even more noob than me willing to play. :)

Feel free to start up another AoW2 game if you'd like to do one more of those as well. These games are much more enjoyable with a few of them bouncing back and forth via the email wrapper. Just copy, paste and edit one of DaveSpice's sign ups / starting pages. That's what most of us do to kick off a game.
