Just started playing this and thought some might like to know that when running in widescreen you can change the FOV in the game using the fix for Borderlands rather than the F4 solution. With the F4 remedy you have to remember to press it after every cutscene & reload or it resets itself to default, which is a pain. Using the Borderlands fix it's bound to your W walk forward key, so it corrects itself as soon as you move.
To apply - simply open up MyDefUser.ini in the games System folder, scroll down to find the W=MoveForward binding and change it so it looks like:
W=MoveForward | FOV xx.xxxxx - where x is your desired FOV
No more spamming the F4 key. I'm not too far into the game so I don't know if there's any drawback in doing it this way but so far it seems to be the better solution.
If you're on Nvidia hardware the game can also look much nicer using Nvidia Inspector to force anti aliasing. The Bioshock compatibility flag seems to work ok for me so far.
Shame there's no fix for the missing shadows.
