i'm stuck in the caves where you need to light the shield on fire. i've found the only way to even get visible fire is to shoot two bolts (leaving myself without any. if i shoot one bolt, there's no visible fire but the dialogue continues) but then it gets stuck: Arnaud doesn't move and the deRune's can only move forward, straight into the rats. Amicia is unable to use any other ammo at this point, nor can she move sideways or backwards, which means my only option is walk into the rats and die. i've tried restarting the section and the same thing happens. has anyone else found this? when i tried to verify/repair (playing with galaxy) it said updating for 10 mins and nothing happened. advice please?

I;m now stuck in chapter 9 unable to proceed. Hugo gets stuck at the bed in the sacred quarters - after he mention Vaudin he 'drifts' backwards and appears to get stuck- and so when it's time to jump through the window and advance to the second floor, amicia goes to the window to wait for Hugo and the game freezes at this point.

I really love this game so far and would love to be able to finish it, but i'm very frustrated with how it plays. my PC is a few years old now, the game runs slowly and i'm not overly familiar with tweaking all my card settings. i have the game running on the lowest graphics settings and it still runs slower than a snail race. i've tried to follow the advice on the support pages, ran the repair option a coupleof times and even un/reinstalled the game but nothing seems to work. i can play Innocence without any problems. at my wits end!!!!!!
