Hi,

I am having a problem with A new beginning final cut.
At the time jump just before Chapter 3 when trying to select the video, the inventory opens & closes far too rapidly to access.
This does not happen at any stage in the game up to this point.
Is there a way to fix this, or can somebody provide a savegame after this point.
I am running windows 7 if this helps.

Hello-I had the same prob. in the same place. Daedalic Entertainment sent me a save for the scene right after this,Beginning of Ch 3.
I played until middle of Ch. 5 and it happened again. sent another request, but they only have a save for beg. of Ch.5
Maybe if enough people complain they will play the game and produce more saves?

WOW what a great idea!How about a patch? I'm going to suggest that in my reply to them.

Update:
I got past the next stuck area by going back to the previous screen and getting the objects
from inventory and with object "in hand" went back to the area where I was stuck and
lo and behold the inventory is there, so, back in the game again!

I had the same problem, I fixed it by pressing F8 (which bring the options screen) and then choosing "return to game" and the inventory worked just fine this time.

The mods should make this sticky. I had the same problem as well.

I believe so too.. And I also I solved the problem by pressing F8.

I just had this at the end of Chapter 2 and for a moment I thought I wouldn't be able to continue playing. Opening the Options menu worked, thankfully. A shame this was never fixed (it shouldn't be too hard).
