It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Happened here and here is a easy way to fit it.
1. run regedit
2. search for "Insane" (don't include the quotes)
3. delete the entry
This will reset the configuration on the next load, allowing you to start playing again.
Had similar issues with Win7 32bit. Game was running but couldn't see the menu, when I tried to run the game (by guessing menu entries) just CTD.
Also, uninstalling did NOT remove registry entries, had to search for them. As stated above was labelled under Insane (Note: i not 1), below a Codemasters folder.
